RECENT FEEDBACK: Dr Laoise Ni Thuama "Dr Kat Gregory spent 3 days with us here in Yamba and Maclean Vet clinics, providing a comprehensive and hugely interesting workshop for us vets and nurses. We learned valuable tips on and methods of dealing with the behavioural issues seen in so many of our pets these days. Her depth of knowledge is incredible, and she was generous with her information and advice. Both vets and nurses benefited hugely from her workshop; indeed, the consensus was we could have listened to her for an entire week!"
Working with Dr Kat has changed our lives by giving us a wealth of knowledge and the tools to help manage our Vizsla Rocket’s anxiety. Watching her work with Rocket immediately demonstrated her amazing ability to read and understand animal behaviour - we wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care. She genuinely cares about Rocket’s progress and how we can improve his and our life by reducing his separation anxiety and reactivity to other animals. We can’t thank Dr Kat enough for sharing her knowledge and expertise in this field. - Kim Goei

HERO
November 2019
I left a big bit out of Hero's Story. Its important I tell it!
I was about to say I don't know why, but I do. Because I thought that maybe I could just ignore the part that medication has played in this story. 'I'm a dog trainer after all - I should be able to help my dog without it'.
Because I know better is exactly why I used medication to help Hero. I met Dr. Kat Gregory at the PPG Conference last year. I thought, 'if this woman can train tigers and she loves GSP's then I am going to engage her to see if she can help me with Hero's growing anxieties'.
Hero is terrified of the vet (needs to be unconscious to have all procedures).
Hero is scared of strangers.
Hero is worried about shadows and different floor surfaces.
Hero is a strong and amazing dog! (a complete smart ass!)
If I hadn't got her on the right medication to set her up for success we wouldn't be where we are today.
I am proud of the work I have done with Hero and I am proud of the decisions I've made around the use of medications with the support of a great vet behaviourist.
Hero is one of those dogs that every decision you make has an impact on her/my life. She is the best teacher dog I've ever had.
She doesn't give me much space to get it wrong.
Dr. Kat Gregory is Hero's Hero! and therefore my Hero!
Hero and I adore you!
